Serena sat at her desk, surrounded by stacks of books and research papers. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. She checked the email, hoping to hear news about a grant. The subject read, "Article Publication!" She scanned the lines. Her essay on the impact of social media? It had been published… under the name of another individual. Her mind struggled to comprehend. A wave of bewilderment and anger surged through her, leaving her feeling utterly disoriented.
